Everything you need to know about working with Momentum — from pricing to process to what makes us different.
A Fractional COO is a senior-level operations executive who works with your business on a part-time or project basis. You get the strategic thinking, systems-building expertise, and leadership of someone who has operated at a high level — without paying the $150,000 to $200,000 a year it would cost to bring that person on full-time.
We specialize in solo practitioners and small firms with 1 to 10 attorneys. Our service tiers are specifically designed for this range — from solo practitioners just getting started with systems (Starting Momentum) to firms with 5–10 attorneys in active growth mode (Full Momentum).
We believe in transparent pricing. Our Momentum Diagnostic assessment is $1,500 (credited toward any retainer). Retainer tiers start at $2,500/month for solo practitioners and go up to $7,500/month for embedded fractional COO support. We also offer The Momentum Method, a 10-week group program, at $2,000 per attorney. Full pricing details are on our Pricing & Packages page.
A great office manager runs the office. A Fractional COO redesigns how the office runs. It's the difference between managing existing operations and building better ones. Many of our clients find that their staff performs better once we've clarified roles, built proper systems, and created accountability frameworks.
Most consultants write a report and disappear. We embed in your firm. We learn your people, your workflows, your clients, and your goals. Then we build the systems together — with your team — and stay until they stick. We don't just advise. We implement.
The Momentum Method is our 10-week live group program for attorneys who want to build operational systems themselves with expert guidance. You get live weekly sessions, proven templates, and a cohort of peers — all for $2,000. It's the same Efficiency → Strategy → Growth framework we use with 1:1 clients, adapted for a group learning environment.
That's the most common thing we hear — and it's the clearest signal that now is exactly the right time. Being too busy to fix what's making you too busy is the definition of the problem we solve. Our process is designed to minimize disruption. We handle the heavy lifting.
The Momentum Diagnostic is completed in 10 business days. Retainer engagements have a 6-month minimum — that's the time needed to build real systems and see measurable results. The Momentum Method group program runs 10 weeks. After any engagement, many clients continue with lighter ongoing support.
Yes. We work with attorneys launching new firms on everything from business registration and software setup to hiring, policy creation, and establishing operational workflows from day one. Starting with systems in place is dramatically more effective than retrofitting them later.
It's a $1,500 hands-on operational assessment where we audit your workflows, technology, billing, and team structure. You receive a written Diagnostic Report with findings, a Red/Yellow/Green scorecard, quick wins, and a 90-day roadmap. The fee is credited in full toward any retainer tier if you sign within 30 days.
Yes. We serve clients both locally in Los Angeles and remotely nationwide. All of our services can be delivered virtually, and most of our clients work with us remotely.
